TC Electronic Forum — Audio Interfaces

Hello everyone,

My Desktop Konnect 6 audio interfaces not works on High Sierra. When I open tc near control pannel, I have this display message : no device found... looking for devices. My connection Firewire is fully functional.

Any idea ?

Hi,

I would like to upgrade my MacPro with Firewire from 10.12.6 to 10.13.1. Will my Impact Twin Firewire still work after the upgrade? If not, where do I find recent drivers for High Sierra then?

Hello! Please help! I have sound card Konnekt 6 on mac os x 10.13.3 (Hight Sierra) I installed drivers on system but it doesnt support. I need to roll back on latest version mac os or waiting update drivers?

Hi - ever since latest OS X update the impact twin is not being detected by the TC near control panel nor Logic. It is however showing up in System report:

Strangest thing. Just bought a new PC (yes, my firewire has the TI chipset) and just cannot get the Impact Twin to install. Windows is giving me driver incompatibility backtalk and not digitally signed BS, and TC near says No Device Found. Strange, because this morning, everything worked fine. On the same PC. With my old Windows 7.

Does anybody have a moment of clarity to share?

I wanted to us my konnekt 8 on a new computer with windows 10. I had no Firewire port, so I bought on (Kalea Informatique PCI-Express-Karte (FireWire 400 IEEE1394a)).

I pluged the Konnekt 8 in, it gets power - the lights are on. I downloaded TC Near Control Panel but when I started it it says "No device found". Can anybody helpe me?

Google says that other people had the problem to, but I didn t find a solution.

Hi. I'm a Windows 10 user, and my Konnekt 6 worked nicely with build 15063_rs2_release, as well as with every previous Windows version.

Things change, and since I received updates for Fall Creators Updates, software 3.6.1 no longer sees my interface (everything's fine in Device Manager, but TC Near Control Panel says

i don't seem to be able to route the following:

AES 5/6 --> SP/DIF 5/6 --> to Mac.

i can get the signal from the AES 5/6 device into the SP/DIF 5/6 device (the device shows activity on its front panel), but i can't get the SP/DIF 5/6 device's output into the computer. It seems you cannot use both AES and SP/DIF inputs at the same time. Am i wrong? If i'm wrong, what is the correct methodology?
