For me it's not working but it works on 8, the last Impact-twin software(3.6.0, sept 30) doesn't change nothing!

I have a konnekt 8, and it was working fine with my mac mini(later 2014 version) on a MAC OS EI Capitan. It's connected to my mac with a 1394 9-6 wire (800-400), and a thunderbolt to 6pin wire.
Well, I installed windows 7 with bootcamp and installed the driver, but found out that windows 7 on a mac doesn't recognize thunderbolt. And of course, konnekt 8 doesn't work at all (couldn't even be recognized).
So, i switched back to mac os... now sad things happened!!! My konnekt 8 can't work under mac os either!!!!
I tried to restart mac, reinstalled the driver, turn off and on the konnekt 8, but it just didn't work at all.
On the system settings, there's a warning sign. Status shows
Is there any new products out there using this brand new Dice chip?

I try to use my headset with the konnekt 8. I connect my headset with an adaptator mini-jack -> Jack and I connect it to te konnekt 8. I try a lot of settins but nothing work, the micro doen't work.
Just picked up the Clarity M Meters very impressive piece of hardware. I compared the TC Clarity M alongside RTW Primus and Waves WLM and the meters are spot on.
One feature suggestion would be if there can be user defined settings for the PPM Meters such as adjusting the scale, weighting, and response of the meters.
Another would be to have a phase scope as an instrument to be able to cycle between alongside the Radar, and RTAS.
A friend who had a kid and has no more time for music production (for now haha) is selling some of his gear, and his Impact Twin is up for grabs. Aside from dodgy support for some newer OS's I have heard *great* things about it. I was doing some research and came across a nice guide on some of the best audio interfaces readily available today (don't have the link handy I'll update if I find it). What made you go with the Impact Twin over something like a Focusrite Scarlett series?
Hello! I have desktop konnekt 6 for about 6 years...i used and on xp and win 7 64 b...i had a format recently and now i am using 7 64 b sp 1....but my tc does not work....all button leds are on but my firewire blue light is off!!! I tried to fix it from device manager (legacy...etc) but the yellow exclamation mark still there!!!
Any help plz!!!
My PCIe card based on TI 2213 chipset which has 9pin and 6pin port at the same time, guess what, it couldn't recognized my Konnect no matter how I hard I try, folks told me this ain't right. So I changed two 6pin - 6pin cable, nothing happened. This is nightmare!! But then I've bought a 9 - 6pin cable, it works great! I know some guy have this "no device" problem, just give a try.
Please confirm which options I have for connecting 'consumer' line level (-10 dBv) equipment to the Impact Twin. Is it just the front panel connectors that support this?

Hi folks - I am new to this. I play flute and just bought the Hall of Fame reverb pedal. Now I need a microphone and pre-amp. Can anyone suggest a reasonably priced pre-amp to put between the mic and the Hall of Fame pedal? Or does the pre-amp go after the pedal between pedal and regular power amp?

my Konnekt 48 works fine with my Desktop PC but now i need it mobile on my Notebook.
When i turn the Konnekt on the blue fw light blinks a few times it shows up in device manager and the its gone. i tried the legacydriver and biosupdate etc,etc. nothing works.
Any Ideas how to getit work?

The sound was crystal clear before, the new driver install has rendered me with crackles & static, well frustrating. Its nice that the drivers have had an update but I cant see an improvement at all.

I can't for the life of me figure out why tc has abandoned producing their Studio Konnekt 48 (SK48) interfaces.
I'm one of the lucky ones who bought one in 2008.
I love this interface. I love the reverb, which tc is well known for.
I love the remote, etc. etc. etc.
I have been using it since 2008.
I don't even consider any other brands to be in contention when considering if and when I may need to replace this unit some day.
These units are now in demand after all the years of not being made any more.
They're still sought after and sell very quickly now, despite being only able to find used ones here and there.
With very little (if any) modification, tc would be able to sell these again like hot cakes and lead the market, winning over more customers into their sales base of other products to consider, instead of chasing them away.
Their Reverb itself is and has always been an industry leader.
The only thing I would change would be to update their software to x64 (64 bit), in conjunction with most users needs within their computers and DAWs.
From a sales point of view, demand for something usually spells out guaranteed sales.
So I just can't understand why tc dropped this 'golden ball' a number of years ago, when in my opinion, they should have ran with it full force, and still should be.
They have made many many products by now, but this one was one of their top items, if you ask me.
So someone please tell me - is it a matter of not being able to source some of the parts any more?

I'm trying to get my SK48 to cooperate with audio recording software on an HP ProBook 6460b running Windows 10. This HP ProBook has a mini 4-pin FireWire 400 port built in.
I've installed the "1394 OHCI Compliant Host Controller (Legacy)" firewire driver available from Microsoft (before I did this, TC Near couldn't connect to the SK48 at all). Now the SK48's blue firewire "locked" light does come on and TC Near is working. Windows recognizes the SK48 in the Sound Control Panel as well.
However, none of the software I've tried is allowing me to record or play back any audio. I'm able to set up the software with the SK48 as the I/O device, but when I press "Record" - the transport stays still and nothing happens. Same thing when I try to play back previously recorded audio - nothing.
I've tried this in Presonus Studio One, Audacity, and a couple of other freeware programs.
None of Windows 10's audio "test" features produce any sound through the SK48 in the "configuration" settings.
Any ideas how to fix this would be greatly appreciated.
My hardware used to work. I plug it in and get new installs and every driver specific to this device says driver not digitally signed.
Now I have a brick that used to work fine.
PLEASE PROVIDE DIGITALLY SIGNED DRIVERS FOR WINDOWS

Hi, I have konnekt 8 and I recently I was offered konnekt 6 for a good price, and I thought it would be kind of cool thing to control my monitors with it. Question is can I used both with PC at the same time? Can I chain them with firewire cable as connect 8 has two firewire connections, or I have to connect them seperately to PC firewire slots and will tc control/daw recognize it as one interface with more channels?
