I have an Impact twin from +5 years and never had a single problem with it.
Today I'm experiencing serious and long audio crackles and noises coming out from my speakers (ADAM A7X).
After several trials and checks, I realized that the problem verifies only on the 2 main output channels (Line Outputs 1 - 2).
Moreover, it verifies also with my Macbook turned off and the firewire cable unplugged.
I've tried to unplug the power supply and plug it to a different socket, change the power chord, but the audio crackles continue to be there.
Please help me. I need my setup to work.
