Hi, if anybody has this experience please help me through.
I recently bought an iMac (2017) that only has thunderbolt3 and the USB port. Since Konnekt8 has Firewire 400 port, I bought a Firewire 400-Firewire 800 cable. Then I got the apple adapter that converts firewire to Thunderbolt 2. Then an adapter that converts Thunderbolt 2 to Thunderbolt 3. This adapter is then connected my iMac.
Unfortunately my iMac doesn't recognize the device. It just recognizes till the Thunderbolt-Firewire adapter.
Did anybody face the same problem?
I am not sure if I need to download the driver but I couldn't find it. I downloaded the app in the tc electronic site.
Is there anything else I should try?
