Guitar is recorded differently sometimes

Hi Guys,

I noticed that sometimes my Konnekt 8 plays and records guitar differently than it normally sounds. I.e. I tune a preset and then record it - all good. But next time I turn on Konnekt 8 I cannot get the same sound as recorded! It's just not there. The recorded track doesn't change its sound but if I play on it I get quite a different sound - so it's definitely something with recording, either guitar's pickups somehow send different sound or Konnek8 records it differently.

I record raw guitar and use Guitar Rig 5 as an effect in Sonar.

Has anyone experienced anything like that? How typical is that?
